Ohio: ISIS-inspired attacker arrested after conspiring deadly attack on synagogue

According to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, the FBI managed to arrest and charge 21-year-old Damon Joseph with providing material support to ISIS.

Joseph allegedly discussed being inspired to attack a Rabbi after being inspired by the actions of the savage who massacred 11 people in a synagogue in Pittsburgh.

The Department of Justice unveiled that Joseph had mentioned that he admired the shooter and that he could see himself carrying out a similar type of operation.  According to the FBI, Joseph allegedly mentioned that “Jewish people were evil and deserved what was coming to them.”

FBI sources also revealed that Joseph’s social media was alarming and he allegedly began to be on law enforcement’s radar when he allegedly pledged allegiance to ISIS and promoted others to join the terrorist organization.  Other social media posts allegedly include displaying hatred against Americans, namely Jews, homosexuals, Catholics and Christians.

Joseph allegedly sent an undercover FBI agent details regarding a plan to attack a Toledo-area synagogue.  In need of weapons and ammunition, Joseph allegedly asked the agent.  Once allegedly taking possession of two AR-15 rifles from the FBI agent, Joseph was arrested.

If found guilty, Joseph may require to serve up to 20 years behind bars.
